Electrical Designer Responsibilities:
Develop and revise electrical systems and construction drawings using AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and other design tools. Perform electrical calculations, including load analysis, voltage drop, short circuit, and lighting photometrics. Collaborate with estimators, project managers, engineers, and team members to align electrical design with project requirements. Review submittals, ensure compliance with NEC and local codes, and research regulatory standards. Participate in client meetings to present design concepts and clarify project requirements. Conduct clash detection and design coordination for constructability and system integration. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to schedules and quality standards.Electrical Designer Qualifications:
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Design, Electrical Engineering, or related field. Minimum 5 years of electrical design experience, including power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage systems. Proficiency with Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and Microsoft Office. Strong knowledge of electrical schematics, wiring, and system design methodologies. Experience designing fire alarm systems preferred. Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage priorities, and meet deadlines. Benefits Base salary $90K- 130K depending on experience.
