Charlotte, North Carolina job type: Contract salary: $28.82 - 38.00 per hour work hours: 8am to 4pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Assist multi-disciplinary project teams in designing electrical power systems, schematics, lighting, and protection/control layouts.

Utilize 2D and 3D CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, MicroStation) to produce engineering drawings, calculations, and redlines from rough sketches.

Establish electrical CAD procedures, maintain project file organization, and uphold all design and drafting standards.

Analyze reports, drawings, and specifications to align designs with applicable codes, project criteria, budgets, and schedules.

Collaborate with engineers and designers to resolve design issues, refine system components, and complete assigned tasks on time.
