This role ensures that all automated building and industrial systems function efficiently, safely, and in alignment with project specifications. The PLC Programmer collaborates closely with engineering, project management, and field teams to integrate control strategies, troubleshoot issues, optimize system performance, and deliver high-quality automation solutions from concept through commissioning. What You Will Do Work with a team of design engineers to develop system control strategies. Develop Rockwell and Siemens PLC programs using: P&IDs Sequence of operation documentation Project plans and specifications Customer requirements and standards Perform integrations to different communication protocols, including (but not limited to) Modbus, Ethernet/IP, Profibus, and BACnet. Collaborate with SCADA developers to implement HMI integration and control via SCADA software. Develop simulation, bench test, factory acceptance test protocol documentation. Perform simulations, bench tests, factory witness tests, and on-site commissioning tests for each program. Position requires up to 30% of travel to customer sites for deployment of post-deployment support activities. What You Will Bring to
