Our client seeks a Lead Electrical Designer in Charlotte, NC to drive technical execution, lead complex design packages, and mentor a high-performing engineering team. In this high-growth role, you will champion technical quality, ensure strict code compliance, and execute high-impact projects from day one.

Charlotte, North Carolina job type: Permanent salary: $150,000 - 170,000 per year work hours: 8am to 4pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Lead and execute complex electrical design packages for power generation and industrial facilities, ensuring adherence to applicable codes, NEC standards, and project requirements. Design, lay out, and review advanced electrical systems, including raceway systems, lighting designs, and grounding/bonding networks. Serve as the primary design checker and mentor junior designers to maintain technical accuracy, constructability, and overall design quality. Coordinate cross-functionally with engineering, construction, and client stakeholders while managing design schedules, budgets, and submittals. Conduct field site visits for redline reviews, field verifications, retrofit evaluations, and on-site technical support. #randstadengineering qualifications: Experience level: Experienced Minimum 10 years of experience
