Collaborate closely with engineering teams, construction managers, and clients to integrate fire alarm systems seamlessly into building information modeling (BIM) workflows. Perform electrical system design calculations and prepare technical documentation for approval and installation. Utilize 3D modeling software like Creo or Revit to develop comprehensive system layouts that optimize space and functionality. Review construction drawings, schematics, and CAD documentation for accuracy; update designs based on project changes or client feedback. Support the integration of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical wiring diagrams, and system controls within fire alarm solutions to ensure reliable operation. Skills Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, NavisWorks, and 3D modeling tools such as Creo. Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles related to fire alarm systems and electrical wiring layouts.
