Working closely with the Electrical Engineer and project team, this position assists in creating electrical drawings, selecting components, preparing bills of material, and supporting shop and field activities. The ideal candidate has practical industrial electrical experience and a strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring methods, and applicable electrical codes. Candidates may come from backgrounds such as industrial electrician, controls technician, electrical designer, electrical engineering technician, or similar trades and technical roles. Responsibilities Create and revise electrical wiring diagrams, interconnection drawings, termination schedules, and cable schedules. Assist with development of electrical drawing packages for fabrication, installation, and customer submittals. Support electrical component selection and preparation of bills of material. Review project specifications and drawings to ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes and customer requirements. Coordinate with engineering, procurement, fabrication, and field personnel to support project execution. Provide technical support to shop personnel during fabrication and assembly. Assist with installation reviews and troubleshooting activities as required. Communicate with suppliers regarding electrical components, availability, and technical requirements. Maintain project documentation, drawing revisions, and records. Support continuous improvement efforts related to electrical design and project execution. Required Qualifications Associate degree in Electrical Technology, Engineering Technology, Industrial Controls, or related field; equivalent experience considered. Experience working with industrial electrical systems, controls, instrumentation, or electrical installations. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications. Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC). Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a team environment. Strong communication and organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications Journeyman Electrician, Master Electrician, or equivalent industrial electrical experience. Experience with AutoCAD or similar drafting software. Experience with industrial control panels, instrumentation, PLC-based systems, or packaged equipment. Familiarity with hazardous location classifications and associated electrical requirements. Experience supporting manufacturing, fabrication, or system integration operations. Experience in industrial, energy, oil & gas, chemical processing, or related industries.
Pay:
