Opportunity for the position to become permanent based on business needs and performance Job Summary We are seeking an Entry-Level Electrical Design Technician to join our engineering and design team in Greenville, SC. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional with drafting experience and knowledge of Revit to gain hands-on experience supporting construction and engineering projects. The successful candidate will work under the direction of engineers and design professionals, prepare technical drawings and project deliverables, and collaborate with multiple disciplines in a professional engineering environment. Key Responsibilities Take direction from engineers and other design professionals to support project requirements. Prepare electrical drawings, layouts, and other technical deliverables using applicable design and drafting software. Assist with the development and modification of project drawings and documentation. Coordinate and interact with other engineering and design disciplines. Incorporate design changes and revisions based on project requirements and engineering direction. Review drawings and deliverables for accuracy and completeness. Support project teams with drafting and design-related activities as assigned. Follow established engineering, drafting, documentation, and quality standards. Required Qualifications Associate degree from an accredited technical institution or college in Computer Drafting & Design, Architectural Drafting, Electrical Design, or a related program ; OR approximately 2 years of relevant on-the-job drafting experience. 0-2 years of drafting experience , preferably within the construction or engineering industry. Experience using Revit through either academic coursework or professional experience is required. Basic understanding of technical drawings, drafting principles, and design documentation. Ability to follow instructions and work effectively with engineers and other design professionals. Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Navisworks and/or Revizto . Experience supporting construction, engineering, architectural, or multidisciplinary design projects. Familiarity with electrical design and engineering documentation. Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary project environment. Work Schedule This is a hybrid position based in Greenville, SC. The selected candidate will be required to work from the office at least two days per week , with additional in-office presence expected during the initial training/onboarding period.
