Responsibilities:
Design and develop complex electrical systems and processes, ensuring they are compliant with industry standards and regulations. Utilize AutoCAD to create detailed electrical designs and schematics. Develop and maintain PLC I/O diagrams, panel layouts, and pneumatic schematics. Manage power distribution and AC/Servo drives. Ensure designs comply with
UL 508, UL
698A, NEC, NFPA79, and SCCR standards. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and designers to create the best possible electrical solutions. Conduct thorough inspections and tests of electrical systems and components to ensure optimal functionality. Continually stay updated with the latest advancements and technologies in the electrical engineering field to incorporate into designs. Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members, fostering an environment of learning and growth. Work closely with project managers to ensure that all project deliverables are met within the set timelines.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. A minimum of 5 years' experience in electrical design, particularly within the Engineering industry. Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design software. Extensive knowledge of
UL 508, UL
698A, NEC, NFPA79, and SCCR standards. Experience with PLC I/O diagrams, panel layouts, pneumatic schematics, power distribution, and AC/Servo drives. Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail. Ability to work effectively within a team and independently. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. A proactive mindset with a strong drive for continuous learning and development. Professional Engineering (PE) license is a plus.
