Junior Designer The Luminicos, Corp Miami, FL Job Details Full-time $45,000 a year 6 hours ago Benefits Paid time off Employee discount Qualifications Technical documentation Research Bachelor's degree Design development Presentation preparation Lighting design Full Job Description Prepares lighting layouts, reflected ceiling plans, elevations, fixture schedules, detail drawings, presentation materials, and other design documents under the guidance of the Senior Project Architect. Researches lighting fixtures, drivers, controls, mounting accessories, finishes, photometric information, dimensions, and manufacturer documentation, and updates product schedules and comparison materials based on selections approved by senior project personnel. Incorporates design comments and approved revisions into drawings, schedules, and specification materials, and maintains organized, current project records, technical documents, submittals, samples, and design references. Tracks pending design information, fixture approvals, sample requests, product substitutions, technical questions, and documentation needed from architects, contractors, manufacturers, and clients, and provides status updates to the Senior Project Architect and Project Manager. Assists senior project personnel with site observations, mock-up reviews, fixture-placement verification, installation questions, testing, and commissioning documentation, and prepares follow-up notes and records for review.
