Strategic Mission Critical is seeking a VDC Associate to support the delivery of complex mission critical projects across the United States. This role is ideal for a hands-on VDC professional with experience in Revit-based MEP modeling who is ready to take on greater production responsibility while continuing to grow their coordination and project-delivery skills. You'll work closely with senior VDC team members, contractors, and project stakeholders to produce coordinated, constructible models and shop drawings that support successful field execution. What You'll Do Produce detailed Revit models and shop drawings for electrical systems Translate engineering design intent into coordinated, field-ready models supporting fabrication and installation Support project coordination efforts, including clash detection and model resolution using Navisworks Participate in coordination meetings with internal teams, contractors, architects, and design partners Coordinate model revisions, RFIs, and project deliverables while maintaining quality and schedule requirements Work across multiple linked models and disciplines to resolve constructability challenges Collaborate with senior VDC team members to improve modeling standards, workflows, and technical skills Qualifications 2+ years of professional VDC, BIM, or construction modeling experience Hands-on proficiency with Autodesk Revit in a production environment Experience modeling MEP systems Experience producing construction models and shop drawings Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and apply design intent Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of contractor-side VDC/BIM experience Mission critical or data center project experience Electrical modeling experience Autodesk Certified Professional, Revit (or similar certification) Compensation $75,000 - $90,000+ a year Depending on location, experience, education, and skills
