Job Description

Job Description We are seeking an experienced Electrical Designer to support engineering and design activities for complex industrial and infrastructure projects. This individual will be responsible for developing electrical design packages, creating technical drawings, supporting field activities, and collaborating closely with engineers and multidisciplinary design teams throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain electrical design documentation utilizing Bentley MicroStation.
Create and revise:
One-line diagrams Wiring diagrams Lighting and power plans Installation details Instrumentation & Control (I&C) diagrams Conduit and cable schedules Fire alarm system drawings Communications system drawings Prepare technical data sheets, specifications, and field walkdown reports. Support design engineering efforts for low
  • and medium-voltage power distribution systems.
Assist in the design and documentation of industrial control systems. Collaborate with electrical engineers and CAD design personnel to develop project deliverables. Participate in field walkdowns and site assessments to verify design requirements and support project execution. Provide construction and operational support related to engineering design outputs. Ensure designs comply with applicable industry standards and codes. Work safely in industrial environments, including occasional radiological-controlled areas when required.   • Low-voltage and medium-voltage electrical distribution systems
  • Industrial control systems
  • Electrical construction and installation practices
Knowledge of:
NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code)
NFPA 79 UL 508A
  • Ability to develop detailed technical drawings and engineering documentation.
  • Associates Degree or higher
  • 6+ years experience as an Electrical Designer
