Job Description
McCord Engineering, Inc. is looking for an Engineering Technician to join our firm in College Station, TX. The firm is involved with electrical distribution projects. The position will be primarily involved with assisting with electric distribution designs for our clients. Most projects involve working directly with our engineering staff to provide engineering services to our clients, which includes municipal utilities, cooperatives and private entities.

- Overhead and power line plan and profile design
- Underground power line plan and profile design
- Underground Residential Distribution designs
- Retail and commercial electric distribution designs
- Be proficient at Computer Aided Drafting (AutoCAD)
- Prepare material specifications Able to follow detailed direction from engineering staff in one, or more, of the following areas: overhead and underground distribution line design, system mapping, assembly unit construction specifications, material specifications Provide interpretation of NEC and NESC codes, standards, regulations and guidelines.
