Job Description

Electrical Designer responsible for developing electrical and instrumentation design documentation for industrial systems and facilities. Job Requirements Strong 3D AutoCAD experience. Experience designing electrical systems rated at 480V and below. Experience with hazardous area classification requirements. Knowledge of electrical grounding design. Experience with instrument installation and 24VDC wiring. Experience developing cable tray routing based on cable schedules. Preferred Skills Industrial electrical and instrumentation design experience. Experience developing electrical construction and installation documentation. Experience with terminal identification and junction box layouts. Job Responsibilities Develop single-line and one-line diagrams. Develop loop diagrams and wiring diagrams. Create interconnect diagrams, including terminal identification. Develop cable schedules. Design grounding systems. Develop instrument installation and 24VDC wiring details. Determine lighting placement and develop installation details. Develop junction box locations and terminal layouts. Design cable tray routing based on cable schedules. Prepare electrical and instrumentation drawings using 3D AutoCAD.
