We're hiring a hands-on BIM Designer / BIM Manager to join our team onsite in Richardson, TX , supporting complex data center and commercial building projects . You'll model security systems, low-voltage, and data center designs in a collaborative environment where your expertise drives real-world building solutions. Develop detailed BIM models for security and access control systems using Revit, NavisWorks, AutoCAD, and MicroStation to ensure accurate representation and layout design. Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to integrate security system components such as programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical systems, and system design elements into comprehensive models. Create precise construction documentation, including schematics and electrical wiring diagrams aligned with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards. Manage clash detection processes to identify and resolve conflicts between security infrastructure and other building systems using NavisWorks. Lead the review of BIM models for compliance with industry standards like NEC and best practices for electrical engineering and system design. Support project planning by providing detailed 3D visualizations and layout designs. Ensure all BIM deliverables meet project timelines, quality standards, and client specifications while maintaining meticulous records of revisions and updates. Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or BIM/VDC 2+ years recent hands-on BIM/Revit experience on data center, commercial, or mission-critical projects Proficient in Autodesk Revit with experience producing construction-ready drawings At least one professional certification: Autodesk Certified Professional•Revit; Autodesk Certified Professional•Navisworks; BIM/VDC Certification (AGC CM‑BIM, buildingSMART)
