Non-Exempt Salaried Associate Pay Range:
$60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year (based on experience/skills/qualifications) Job description: Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. This position is not eligible for current or future employment visa sponsorship. No relocation assistance is being offered for this position. PLC/HMI Programming Experience Required Mechatronics skill set is preferred for this position to include mechanical, electrical, and programming skills to install, maintain, and repair automated machinery and computer-controlled mechanical systems in an industrial production setting. Reports to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager Trouble-shoot & maintain manufacturing process equipment, support new equipment development and construction through programming, electrical assembly / wiring, and mechanical assembly. Work with engineering, maintenance, and manufacturing personnel on a daily basis to diagnose, repair and improve both existing and new process equipment. Requires an Associate's degree or equivalent years of experience in an electrical or electronic field with prior experience in the installation, programming, troubleshooting and wiring of electrical and pneumatic controls, specifically in the areas of PLC's, HMI interfaces, servo drives and robotic control systems. Hands on work environment within a flexible work schedule. Must be available for call in's after hours.
Principle Activities:
Work with Engineering and Manufacturing associates to develop new equipment concepts. Work with Engineering and Manufacturing associates to improve productivity, scrap, and quality of products made on existing equipment. Assist manufacturing in machine set-up, programming, start-up and problem solving activities. Programming of new equipment projects as well as programming changes to existing equipment as required. Conduct scheduled gauge calibration on production & lab equipment (sensors, transducers, meters, etc.) as needed according to quality certification requirements.
