Job Description

Job Overview We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Process Control CAD Designer to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to build hands-on experience in industrial design, instrumentation, and BIM modeling . In this role, you will work alongside experienced engineers and designers to support projects in heavy industrial environments, including pulp and paper and other process-driven industries. You'll gain exposure to cutting-edge tools and real-world applications while developing valuable technical skills. What You'll Do Develop and modify drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks Create instrument layout drawings in both 2D and 3D environments Assist in developing: Loop drawings Electrical and control schematics Panel layouts Installation details Support the creation and coordination of BIM models across projects Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including engineering, design, and project management Learn industry standards and best practices for process control and instrumentation design What We're Looking For Associate's or Bachelor's degree in CAD, Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience) Basic experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or similar CAD software Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn Interest in industrial design, controls, or process systems Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and communicate effectively Preferred (Nice to Have) Exposure to instrumentation, electrical, or controls systems Familiarity with BIM modeling or 3D design tools Internship or co-op experience in manufacturing, engineering, or constructio
Pay:
$25.00 - $34.00 per hour
