Summary As an Electrical Technician at Ameritech Equipment Co., you will play a vital role in the installation and maintenance of electrical systems for work trucks, Law Enforcement Upfits and class 3-8 installations. This position is essential for ensuring our customers vehicles are equipped with reliable and efficient electrical solutions that meet industry standards. Responsibilities Install and maintain electrical systems in work trucks, including wiring, lighting, and control systems. Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with mechanical technicians to integrate electrical components with mechanical systems. Utilize AutoCAD to assist in the design and layout of electrical installations. Conduct routine inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. Document all work performed and maintain accurate records of installations and repairs. Requirements Proven experience as an electrical technician or similar role, preferably in industrial settings. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and troubleshooting techniques. Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar design software is a plus. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
