Wire Design & Install Engineer Location:
Long Beach, California (On-Site)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented engineering professional to support electrical product details, assembly, and installation design work for commercial aircraft modifications. Our team is looking for someone who can contribute to safe, compliant, and efficient electrical solutions that support customer needs and aircraft performance.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop electrical systems, including equipment racks, power panels, cable routing, and antenna configurations. Create and maintain detailed designs for cable and wire harness assemblies. Work with customers and suppliers to document complex electronic and electrical system requirements and support technical issue resolution. Document processes, specifications, and procedures while reviewing supplier technical data and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary engineering team.
Required:
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry. 5+ years of related work experience. Ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Experience with computer aided design tools and systems, such as CATIA, Mentor Graphics, or Unigraphics.
