ORA_ON_SITE Description SAIC is looking for a Database Engineer to support the Electronic Warfare Data Systems (EWDS) program for the Airborne Electronic Attack Integrated Product Team (AEA IPT) located at NAWC Point Mugu, California. What You'll Do:
As a Database Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring data integrity, automating processes, and modernizing legacy systems.
You'll:
Leverage SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), Visual Studio, and Azure DevOps daily. Write complex, dynamic SQL queries for sophisticated relational databases. Design, develop, test, and debug advanced software applications. Create backups, restore data, and implement solutions to prevent data loss. Develop stored procedures to streamline manual processes for the team. Modernize technical debt by developing innovative database solutions for outdated processes. Qualifications A relevant bachelor's degree and five (5) years or more of experience; additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree. SQL experience is required. Experience with C# and C++ programming languages. Working knowledge of Visual Basic and Microsoft Access.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with Agile project management principles (e.g., sprints and user stories). A basic understanding of Electronic Warfare (EW) and Airborne Electronic Attack (AEA) missions is preferred but not required.
Clearance Requirement:
Active Interim Secret security clearance is required to begin work.
Target salary range:
$120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
