Will need to develop interface circuits for sensors, A/D conversion, embedded system hardware, interface to displays and IOT. Responsibilities Design, develop, and optimize electronic circuits and systems. Conduct root cause analysis to troubleshoot electrical issues. Collaborate on system design projects involving embedded system architectures, ARM processors, and surface mount technology (SMT) manufacturing processes. Create detailed schematics and electrical system diagrams. Design circuits to perform signal processing tasks for sensor-based applications to enhance system accuracy. Engage in mechanical integration efforts to ensure seamless mechanical-electrical interface. Support manufacturing processes by providing technical guidance on soldering techniques, surface mount assembly, and electrical testing with tools like ohmmeters. Contribute to project scheduling by planning milestones, coordinating cross-disciplinary teams, and ensuring timely delivery of engineering solutions. Skills Extensive experience with embedded sytems based measuring instruments. Strong background in electrical systems design, including schematics creation and system integration. Knowledge of signal processing techniques for sensor data analysis. Hands-on soldering skills with surface mount technology (SMT) components; familiarity with manufacturing standards. Firmware programming experience with precision instruments using sensors, A/D convertors, signal processing, user interface, and IOT interfaces. Experience with microcontrollers such as ARM-based platforms. Ability to perform root cause analysis on complex electrical issues; excellent troubleshooting skills. Mechanical knowledge relevant to integrating electrical components within mechanical assemblies. Working knowledge of sheet metal, machined parts, and additive manufacturing capabilities and limitations.
