Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented AV VTC (Video Teleconferencing) Production Engineer to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of advanced audiovisual and video conferencing systems across various live event and corporate environments. Your expertise will ensure seamless communication experiences by integrating cutting-edge AV technology with robust control systems, network infrastructure, and electrical components. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile projects, deliver exceptional customer service, and contribute to the advancement of AV solutions in a fast-paced setting. Required Qualifications At least 10 years of professional experience supporting AV/VTC engineering and production in an environment comparable in size and complexity to EEOC. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting a Federal agency, national organization, executive communications operation, or similarly regulated enterprise. Experience supporting Commission hearings, executive briefing centers, public meetings, or public-facing events. Experience with Blackmagic video switchers and production equipment. Experience with Crestron, Extron, Biamp, Q-SYS, Dante, Poly, Cisco, Shure, or comparable AV technologies. Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Wondershare, or comparable editing software. Experience in storyboarding, visual storytelling, graphic design, animation, or motion-graphics production. Experience supporting digital signage, public-address systems, projection systems, and LED displays. Knowledge of enterprise networking, multicast, VLANs, Quality of Service, firewalls, and bandwidth requirements affecting AV-over-IP and conferencing systems. Experience with accessible event production, open and closed captioning, and Section 508 requirements. Familiarity with ITIL incident, request, problem, change, configuration, and knowledge-management practices. Experience documenting work in Zendesk, ServiceNow, or a comparable service-management platform. Preferred Certifications Relevant certifications may include: AVIXA Certified Technology Specialist

Experience supporting AV/VTC systems across geographically dispersed offices, multiple facilities, or distributed operating locations. Demonstrated experience designing and integrating enterprise AV/VTC solutions. Advanced knowledge of audiovisual signal flow, audio engineering, video systems, collaboration platforms, streaming, recording, and live production. Hands-on experience configuring and maintaining DSPs, control processors, codecs, cameras, microphones, displays, switchers, projection systems, recording systems, and streaming equipment. Experience designing, configuring, or supporting AV-over-IP networks. Experience with Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Cisco Webex, Poly RealPresence, or comparable enterprise collaboration platforms. Experience operating production equipment during executive meetings, live events, webinars, training sessions, webcasts, conferences, or hybrid events. Experience performing live video switching, audio mixing, camera operation, recording, and streaming. Experience diagnosing complex audio, video, network, codec, interoperability, control-system, and hardware issues. Experience developing signal-flow diagrams, equipment layouts, system documentation, configuration records, and operating procedures. Experience performing preventive maintenance, firmware upgrades, system testing, and equipment lifecycle planning. Strong technical writing, documentation, customer-service, and communication skills. Ability to support executives and other high-visibility customers in time-sensitive environments. Ability to work full time onsite at EEOC Headquarters in Washington DC. Ability to provide occasional evening, weekend, or after-hours support. Ability to travel within the United States when required. Ability to satisfy EEOC background-investigation and system-access requirements.
