Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Security Systems Test Engineer SE-2 Engineer supporting the 46 Test Squadron, Command Control Communications, Computer, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) Agile Test Flight located at Eglin
AFB, FL. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
Bachelor's Degree in a technical field. Three (3) years of technical experience. •Additional experience may be substituted for education. An active Secret security clearance is required. U.S. Citizenship is required. Experience with military or government electronic security systems (such as IBDSS) preferred within the last 5 years.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the planning, execution, and reporting of developmental test and evaluation (DT&E) for electronic and physical security devices used in the protection of Protection Level 1-4 assets. Assist with testing access control systems, biometric devices, cameras, video management systems, and counter-unmanned aerial systems (C-UAS). Work alongside senior engineers to develop strategic test documents, including Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMP), test team charters, and Modeling & Simulation Development Plans. Contribute to the review and editing of IBDSS program support documentation, including test directives, annexes, and Statements of Capability. Provide input for long-range and quick-reaction test planning, including cost estimation efforts. Review requirements and help develop test procedures, objectives, and metrics under the guidance of senior team members. Support the collection and analysis of test data and document deficiencies or anomalies in systems under test. Participate in deficiency review boards and working groups to identify testable requirements and necessary resources. Attend meetings to provide technical input and learn about developmental and qualification test activities. Willingness to work extended hours, including weekends and holidays, when required to meet mission needs. Ability to travel worldwide as necessary. #LI-BT-2 #CJ #
