Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history. Northrop Grumman is seeking Engineers to join the Aeronautics Systems Sector Intern Program. This position will be on-site in Melbourne, FL. The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman's Avionics Engineering directorate. The selected candidate will learn to research, design, develop, and test a variety of electronic equipment and systems, including:

• Radar and radiation detection equipment
• Radio, television and other communications equipment and systems
• Circuitry components
• Analog and digital computers
• Control and test equipment

Basic Qualifications:

A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria.

The candidate must:

• Be enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university AND graduating after August 2027.
• Be majoring in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or other related STEM related field
• Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during Summer 2027
• Be able to obtain and maintain a U.

S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.25 out of 4.0 or higher
• Previous internship/co-op experience, leadership & teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular).
• Self-motivated, willing to learn, and interested in working in a team environment.
• Experience in developing and delivering presentations and leading small groups.
• Experience in working on business or engineering full life-cycle projects from project inception through launch.
• Active U.

S. Government Secret clearance or higher

Intern Pay Range :

• Undergraduate (Including graduating students planning on attending/enrolled in a full-time Master's program for Fall 2027): $18.50

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
