Job Description

Engineering Technician Level I Tampa, FL Direct Hire | Full-Time TempExperts is seeking an Engineering Technician Level I to join an innovative engineering and manufacturing team in Tampa, FL . This Direct Hire position plays a key role in setting up new machinery, programming CNC equipment, and providing technical support and training to customers . The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and mechanical skills, hands-on experience with automation or robotics, and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems both in-house and at customer sites.
Responsibilities:
Set up and troubleshoot new and existing machinery and work cells. Program CNC equipment to produce customer samples and acceptance parts. Conduct quality assurance tests on new machinery prior to customer delivery. Train customers on proper operation, programming, and maintenance of equipment, both in-house and on-site. Provide timely technical support and ensure customer satisfaction through responsive service and follow-up. Repair and maintain products at customer sites as needed, documenting all work performed in the CRM system. Develop and maintain technical documentation, training materials, and troubleshooting guides. Collaborate with Engineering and Production teams to provide feedback and implement process improvements. Assist in the development of new products and industrial automation solutions. Support global fixes, emergency releases, and product updates as directed by Engineering. Communicate proactively with customers regarding problem status and resolution. Requirements /
Education:
Degree or significant coursework/certifications in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, or related field. 1-3+ years of experience programming, troubleshooting, or operating machinery. Strong mechanical, electrical, and programming skills. Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Experience with motion control systems or robot programming (Fanuc preferred) a plus. Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently and think creatively.
