Position Overview This role supports the Power Electronic design team on mechanical design, concepting, and validation activities for electric drive product systems, from design release and checking through fit-up, assembly, and vibration and thermal testing. Key Contributions & Responsibilities Design release and checking Mechanical design concepting and validation, including fit-up/assembly and vibration and thermal testing Supplier interaction on manufacturing Team Structure & Work Environment Reports to the Mechanical Design Lead Works in-person with the on-site team and virtually with the global team, collaborating with fellow Mechanical and Power Electronic Engineers Primarily an office environment; PPE provided when on production floors or at testing sites Requirements Candidate Requirements Education & Experience BS in Mechanical Engineering and 5+ years of relevant experience required OR MS in Mechanical Engineering with 3+ years of experience OR Associate's degree with 9+ years of experience Top Skills Mechanical design fundamentals and material properties Creo (intermediate to advanced user) Dimensional tolerancing (foundational understanding)
