Responsibilities Assist in diagnosing and repairing compressor systems, including troubleshooting pneumatic and hydraulic components. Learn to interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and control system diagrams such as programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Support maintenance activities on HVAC/R equipment, high voltage systems, and low voltage electrical circuits. Operate precision measuring instruments like voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools to identify faults. Participate in equipment troubleshooting using electrical diagnostics and analysis skills to determine root causes of failures. Help perform scheduled preventive maintenance on industrial machinery including welders (stick welding), scissor lifts, and other mechanical assets. Gain experience in field service tasks involving equipment repair, electrical troubleshooting, and customer service interactions. Experience Prior manufacturing facility experience or industrial mechanic background preferred but not required; training provided for motivated candidates. Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software is a plus. Basic knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics is highly desirable. Hands-on experience with welding (stick welding), electrical blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and troubleshooting industrial equipment. Exposure to engineering troubleshooting techniques involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical diagnostics, and equipment repair. Ability to read technical schematics and use diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters effectively. Strong analysis skills combined with excellent customer service orientation; military or technical training backgrounds are advantageous.
