This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in AV, low voltage, structured cabling, IT support, networking, CAD drafting, or commercial construction technology who wants to build a long-term career in engineering and system design. You'll work alongside experienced engineers and gain hands-on experience designing, testing, and supporting cutting-edge AV systems used in corporate offices, healthcare facilities, educational institutions, and other commercial environments. What You'll Do Assist with AV system design and engineering projects Support the creation and review of AutoCAD and Revit drawings Attend project meetings and job sites to learn project requirements and installation processes Help test, troubleshoot, and stage AV equipment Support field technicians and project teams during installations Learn how integrated AV systems, networking, and control systems operate Assist with project documentation, change orders, and quality assurance efforts What We're Looking For We're open to candidates from a variety of technical backgrounds, including: AV Technicians Low Voltage / Structured Cabling Technicians IT Support or Help Desk Technicians Network Technicians CAD Drafters Engineering or Technology Graduates Commercial Construction Technology Professionals Preferred Qualifications Strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn Experience with technology, construction, networking, AV, or low voltage systems Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, or other technical software is a plus Ability to read drawings, blueprints, or technical documentation Strong communication skills and attention to detail Why Apply? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Andover, MA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
