Job Description
Foley & Lardner LLP is seeking Summer Patent Engineers (a ten-week position) to join the Intellectual Property Department in multiple offices. We are seeking individuals with strong academic backgrounds, excellent written and oral communication skills, and an eagerness to confront new challenges and responsibilities. The position will entail working with Foley's patent agents and attorneys, as well as inventors from innovative companies as they seek patent protection on their latest innovations. This position is for the following Foley offices: Boston, Chicago, Milwaukee, San Diego, Washington, D.C. This position is open to all qualified candidates who will graduate in December of 2027, or May/June of 2028, with an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Foley & Lardner LLP offers a competitive compensation structure applicable to all positions. The salary for this position is $70,200/year, pro-rated based on the duration of employment.
