Job DescriptionOur Hardware development team in Plymouth, MI develops Camera, Ultrasonic and Radar based driver assistance products.
We offer an internship (full time or part time) for 6 months or longer, or a Co-Op position to support the development team. Support engineering debugging and development testing of automotive cameras in lab and lab environment Performing measurements in electronic labs by use of Digital Multimeter (DMM), oscilloscopes, and VNAAnalyze and document test results Support in documentation and process related toolRequirements capture in DOORSTest results documentation in RQM Support building wiring harnesses QualificationsRequiredPursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronic, or PhysicsMinimum GPA of 3.0Minimum 18 years of ageGood communication skills and team work spiritAbility to work independently and self-organizedUnderstanding of electronic design and circuitsAbility to read basic electronic schematics and wiring plansGood working knowledge in Microsoft applications such as Excel, Word, and Power PointAbility to work in a lab environmentPreferredAbility to work with basic electrical instruments such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.
Ability to use basic electrical/mechanical hand tools and using soldering ironsExperienced in electronic design and controlsExperienced in Python or LabVIEW. Understanding of complex scriptsMechanical understanding and hands-on experience Additional InformationIndefinite U.S. work authorized individuals only.
