This position is ideal for an electrical engineer with strong hands-on experience developing high-voltage power electronics hardware, including inverters, DC/DC converters, on-board chargers, power distribution systems, and related electronic components. The engineer will work closely with electrical, systems, software, controls, mechanical, validation, and manufacturing teams to take products from concept through prototype, validation, and production. Responsibilities Design, develop, and validate high-voltage power electronics hardware for electrified applications. Support development of AC/DC chargers, DC/DC converters, traction inverters, power distribution systems, EMI filters, bus bars, and related components. Develop and review electrical schematics, PCB/PCBA designs, layouts, and technical documentation. Perform circuit analysis, simulation, component selection, and design verification. Develop hardware architectures and decompose system-level requirements into component-level design requirements. Perform PCB bring-up, bench testing, debugging, and troubleshooting. Analyze semiconductor switching behavior, power losses, thermal performance, and overall system efficiency. Support gate-drive circuit development for MOSFET, IGBT, SiC, and related semiconductor technologies. Support EMC/EMI design, testing, troubleshooting, and corrective-action activities. Develop and execute DV/PV validation plans. Perform root-cause analysis on hardware, EMC, environmental, and validation failures. Conduct DFMEA, design reviews, worst-case analysis, and other engineering assessments. Work closely with software and controls teams during hardware/software integration. Support prototype builds, product launches, and manufacturing troubleshooting. Review PCB layouts for power electronics, including EMC/EMI optimization and minimization of stray inductance. Work with suppliers on component selection, development, testing, and technical issues. Support customer technical discussions and design reviews. Identify opportunities to improve existing hardware designs for performance, cost, reliability, and manufacturability. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline. 5+ years of relevant electrical or power electronics engineering experience. Experience designing and developing high-voltage power electronics systems. Experience with automotive, electric vehicle, hybrid, off-highway, motorsports, industrial, or similar electrified systems. Experience with 48V, 400V, and/or 800V+ electrical architectures. Strong understanding of DC/AC inverters, DC/DC converters, on-board chargers, or other switched-mode power-conversion systems. Hands-on circuit design, schematic capture, simulation, PCB design/review, and hardware troubleshooting experience. Experience with semiconductor technologies such as MOSFET, IGBT, SiC, and/or GaN. Knowledge of gate-drive circuits, power supplies, protection circuits, and thermal-management requirements. Experience with analog, digital, and mixed-signal hardware. Strong

Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, drawings, specifications, and technical requirements. Preferred Experience Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Experience with Altium, OrCAD, PSpice, LTspice, PLECS, or similar design and simulation tools. Experience designing PCB layouts for high-power applications. Understanding of magnetic-component design. Experience with thermal analysis and semiconductor loss modeling. Experience with CAN communication and automotive development tools. Experience with Design for Manufacturing, Design for Assembly, and Design for Reliability. Automotive OEM or Tier 1 power electronics experience is highly desirable.
