Job Description

A‑V Services Inc., a leading audio/video provider supporting multiple Fortune 100 clients across the financial, pharmaceutical, and technology sectors, is seeking a skilled AV Engineer. The ideal candidate will contribute to back-end system design and deliver integrations across AV and event management platforms. Responsibilities Manage global multimedia projects for new construction and retrofits, partnering with external vendors and resources to commission and deliver systems. Partner with internal design and construction teams to define AV requirements and join global project calls. Coordinate with subcontractors (e.g., IE Elections) to align global project power and network requirements. Lead Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) handoffs with third-party vendors, and drive punch-list closeout through opening. Develop room training materials and train staff and technicians on new deployments. Recommend conference-room and AV upgrades for new builds and renovations. Collaborate with the team to keep standard documentation current. Partner with the network team to assign correct VLANs/IPs and coordinate patching schedules for new projects. Configure and deploy Cisco video conferencing systems using EOL and established standards. Qualifications CTS certification, or equivalent experience (CQT/CCNA preferred). Strong hands-on experience with audio consoles, video switching/control, matrix intercoms, and related systems. Experience with Cisco AV solutions and other enterprise AV technologies. Experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco endpoints (C-series, SX, MPX). Working knowledge of IP networking. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and project management skills. Experience working in a global environment. Excellent customer service and executive stakeholder management skills. Cisco certification (or equivalent) is a plus. Experience managing remote, onsite engineering resources. Experience with networking and switch configuration for AV and lighting network protocols, plus current AV control technologies. Strong understanding of AV, IT, and networking hardware and software concepts.
