What you will do Johnson Controls is looking for a Senior Power Electronics Engineer to play a lead role in shaping next‑generation power electronics and variable speed drive (VSD) control solutions. In this highly visible position, you'll own the development of advanced control algorithms for embedded processors using MATLAB/Simulink, helping bring innovative ideas from concept to reality. You'll be hands-on throughout the product lifecycle—designing, testing, and sustaining electronic PCB assemblies and components, building and evaluating prototypes, and validating performance against clearly defined engineering requirements. Your work will directly influence product reliability, efficiency, and real-world performance. This role is onsite at our state-of-the-art Advanced Development and Engineering Center in New Freedom, PA, where you'll collaborate with passionate engineers and technical leaders driving innovation forward.
