What you will do Johnson Controls is looking for a Senior Power Electronics Engineer to play a lead role in shaping next‑generation power electronics and variable speed drive (VSD) control solutions. In this highly visible position, you'll own the development of advanced control algorithms for embedded processors using MATLAB/Simulink, helping bring innovative ideas from concept to reality. You'll be hands-on throughout the product lifecycle—designing, testing, and sustaining electronic PCB assemblies and components, building and evaluating prototypes, and validating performance against clearly defined engineering requirements. How you will do it Conduct system modeling, system simulation and verification using MATLAB/Simulink with Auto-code generation. Perform worst case circuit analysis and incorporation of appropriate reliability principles to ensure reliable operation over the environmental specifications. Assist internal customers to develop, test and support PCBA related projects. Independently conduct and apply cost analysis to feasibility studies on proposed designs or modifications to existing designs. HIRING SALARY RANGE

$100,000 - $150,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
