An Electronics Engineer designs and develops electronic equipment, from iPods to global positioning systems (GPS). Works primarily with smaller electronic equipment that uses electricity as a means of storing information.

Responsibilities:
Arcfield is currently seeking skilled and motivated full-time Computer Engineer to support on-site at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC). You will support Code 34 Radar In-Service Engineering Agency (ISEA) Team. Tasking will include analysis, design and capability enhancements, testing support, and in-service support for new and fielded Radar Systems.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues at both NUWC lab and within the fleet. Analysis for and development of Engineering Change Instructions and Engineering Change Proposals. Perform gap, fault/failure, and performance analyses. Document and present trade studies Investigate capabilities and applicability of unique testing environments to support required testing objectives. Perform impact analysis of testing on related systems /subsystems Perform and/or support factory acceptance testing Develop program status reports such as technical assessments, risk assessments, technical recommendations or technical information
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or computer science. BS and 0-2 years experience Technical writing and presentation skills required along with a strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Experience with process improvement methods, practices, and procedures (i.e., CMMI) is a plus Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and in a team environment Strong documentation and communication skills Understanding DoD engineering design practices is a plus Ability to obtain and maintain a secret level security clearance. Active or very recent security clearances are a plus. Must be able to travel 10% of the time. Be able to hands on with hardware components and software.

This is the projected compensation range for this position.
