Akkodis is seeking an Engineer for a Contract with a client in New York City, NY/ Kansas City, MO (Remote). The ideal candidate has proven ability to perform preventive maintenance, resolve complex service issues independently, and maintain accurate service documentation while ensuring regulatory and quality compliance.

Rate Range:

$28/Hour to $28.50/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Engineer Job Responsibilities include:

Perform installation, calibration, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of medical systems to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues efficiently, minimizing equipment downtime and maintaining service quality standards. Maintain accurate service records, technical documentation, and reports in compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) requirements. Coordinate travel schedules, manage service calls, and communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and internal teams to meet service objectives. Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, company policies, and all applicable quality, environmental, and regulatory standards. Provide technical support and collaborate cross-functionally to resolve complex service issues while delivering exceptional customer service.

Required Qualifications:

Associate's degree in Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related technical field; bachelor's degree preferred. 2+ years of field service, biomedical equipment, medical device, or related technical support experience. Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain hardware and software systems independently.
