FIELD ENGINEER

- (Tupelo MS) Magnetic Analysis Corporation (MAC), Elmsford NY, a major supplier of Eddy Current and Ultrasonic Testing Systems for use in the Copper/Steel -- Tube/Bar Industry. Candidate will be field based in Tupelo MS and service accounts in MS, Western

TN, AR, AL.

This is a career opportunity in the highly specialized field of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT).

Job Qualifications:

• Candidates with EC and UT Level II or III certification will be given preference.
• College degree or military equipment experience in (electronics, electric, mechanical aptitude) (preferred) or BSEET or BSMET degree.
• Prior manufacturing experience in production, inspection, and trouble-shooting methods.
• Electronics experience in a production environment, hands-on ability to trouble-shoot mechanical or electronic/electrical issues.
• Must be able to use a variety of tools including measuring instruments.
• Organized and ability to work with software.
• Must be able to lift 10-30 lbs., walking, bending, steps, standing.
• A self-starter, reliable and possesses customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license

Responsibilities :

• Ability to build and foster existing customer relationships.
• Perform maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair company equipment at customer sites.
• Perform calibrations at customer sites and complete timely and accurate forms.
• Installation and service including training of customer personnel on installed equipment.
• Overnight travel is required.
