Leonardo DRS Land Systems is seeking a full time Field Service Manager. This position is based out of our Bridgeton, MO facility and will have the option to work and in person or hybrid schedule. The Field Service Manager reports to the Director, Engineering - Logistics and manages a team of Field Service Technicians, Field Service Engineers and Supervisors. The Feild Service group supports the installation, modification, retrofit, developmental engineering tests and maintenance of our systems and platforms in support of our internal and external foreign and domestic customers around the world.



Job Responsibilities Supervise and direct field service engineers, representatives, and technicians across multiple customer accounts, including tracking deployment status (CONUS/OCONUS) and providing independent team leadership, coaching, and coordination

Review and approve all field service travel expense reports, purchase authorizations, foreign rental agreements, timesheets, and supplier invoices

Manage technical aspects of complex projects by instructing, directing and ensuring engineer craftsmanship conforms to employer's values, strategies, and expectations

Ensure field support projects are scheduled, forecasted, and remain within budget

Ensure all field service activities adhere to established safety guidelines and operational protocols

Manage budget, cost and schedule input for design assignments

Participate in preparation of proposals and manpower planning

Attend appropriate engineering, customer or business meetings

Clearly communicate (written and oral) with other company personnel and the customer

Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization

Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field or equivalent combination of education and experience

5+ years supervising field support teams and activities

Must be able to travel up to 50% to CONUS and OCONUS (Outside the Contiguous United States) locations

Must have a valid driver's license

Must have or be eligible to obtain a U.S. Passport

Must be able to obtain and retain a company credit card

Excellent teambuilding and leadership skills

Good communications skills (written and verbal) Ability to guide others through moderately complex technical and logistical challenges Fundamental understanding of computer systems, operating systems, and configuration files, a plus

Computer proficiency with MS Office application experience, including Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint

Detailed understanding and use of database technologies, a plus

U.S. Citizenship required. This position requires an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.

The salary range for this position is ($104,295.00/year- $140,799.00/year) for the state of Illinois. This range reflects the good faith estimate of pay the employer is willing to offer at the time of posting. Several factors can influence the pay scale, including but not limited to: Federal contract labor categories and contract wage rates, collective bargaining agreements, geographic location, business considerations, scope, and responsibilities of the position, local or other applicable market conditions, and internal equity. Other factors include the candidate's qualifications such as prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education/training, and certifications. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for: annual performance-based bonuses, equity awards, and overtime pay (for non-exempt employees as applicable.
