Description
- Implement comprehensive test plans and strategies for embedded consumer electronic devices.
- Develop and execute detailed test cases for functional, performance, and reliability testing of hardware-software integrations.
- Analyze test results to identify defects, troubleshoot issues, and ensure product quality for embedded systems.
- Maintain and enhance automated test scripts and frameworks for continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
- Build and configure test environments to accurately simulate real-world usage scenarios for embedded devices.
- Evaluate and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure adherence to industry best practices for embedded product development.
- Develop and maintain clear documentation for test procedures, defect reports, and quality metrics.
- Enhance existing test methodologies to improve efficiency and coverage for embedded device firmware and software.
- Analyze system logs and diagnostic data to pinpoint root causes of complex issues in embedded consumer electronics.
- Implement solutions for identified defects by working closely with engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain regression test suites to ensure stability and prevent regressions in new software releases.
- Demonstrated professional experience of 4-6 years in quality assurance roles, specifically focusing on embedded systems within the consumer electronics domain.
- Requires a strong working knowledge of fundamental Quality Assurance (QA) principles and methodologies, demonstrating the ability to apply them effectively in testing processes.
- Possesses hands-on implementation experience with basic embedded systems concepts and their application in testing consumer electronic devices.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
