We are seeking a Technology Systems Project Designer to join our team in Raleigh, NC. The ideal candidate will design telecommunications networks, structured cabling systems, audio/visual systems, and electronic security systems for a variety of vertical building projects. This role involves collaborating with senior Technology Systems staff and multidisciplinary project teams to deliver high-quality designs while continuing to grow technical expertise. Strong time management, excellent interpersonal skills, and a proactive approach to learning and problem solving are critical to success in this role. Requirements Experience and Education Candidates must have 3-7 years of experience designing telecommunications networks, structured cabling systems, audio/visual systems, and electronic security systems for vertical building projects. Experience in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry is required. An Associate's degree or higher in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Skills Must be proficient in Autodesk Revit, including model setup, linking, navigation, and producing Technology Systems designs from project initiation through completion. Strong time management and organizational skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple assignments and work effectively in a collaborative team environment. Proficient with MS Office suite of products Interpersonal Skills Candidates must demonstrate excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a positive, proactive approach to problem solving and professional development. Must work effectively with Technology Systems team members, other design disciplines, subconsultants, and clients. Eligibility Must be eligible to work in the United States. Must be eligible to obtain a security clearance. Desirable Experience with federal government projects. BICSI Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) certification or a desire to obtain the certification as part of professional development.
