Yokogawa Corporation of America seeks Technology Strategist II in Sugar Land, TX. Coordinate technical engineering activities for industrial automation and control system solutions. Provide diagnostics, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis for Distributed Control Systems (DCS), SCADA systems, Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS), PLC platforms, and industrial communication networks. Lead technical communications among global engineering, service, and R D teams to resolve system integration and interoperability issues. Perform requirements analysis, architecture definition, system integration, testing, validation, and engineering documentation. Translate customer technical requirements into engineering specifications and technical change requests. Serve as technical liaison between customer engineering teams and headquarters and research and development groups. Plan and execute engineering Proof-of-Concept evaluations, pilot implementations, and system validation tests. Support integration of automation systems with third-party control platforms, field devices, and communication interfaces to ensure interoperability. Investigate cybersecurity considerations, industrial network architecture, and system integration topics and provide engineering recommendations. Implement and support industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, EtherNet/IP, OPC, HART, or similar) to support system integration and operational reliability. Execute system integration and troubleshooting activities, prepare engineering documentation, and support FAT, SAT, and commissioning activities. Requires a Bachelors degree in Electronics Engineering or foreign equivalent. Requires 5 years of experience in a related occupation with progressive experience in electrical engineering or industrial automation engineering field.
