Discussed upon interview Job Summary SEMES America Inc., a leading semiconductor equipment solutions provider, is seeking a motivated Clean Field Service Engineer / Field Service Technician to support semiconductor equipment service operations for the Taylor project in the Austin, TX area. This position is ideal for candidates with an engineering background or hands-on technical experience who are interested in semiconductor equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and customer support. Candidates with semiconductor industry experience are strongly preferred. Key Responsibilities Interpret semiconductor equipment maintenance manuals, procedures, schematics, and wiring diagrams. Perform field service, maintenance, and troubleshooting of SEMES semiconductor equipment. Use electronics knowledge, test instruments, and technical tools to diagnose and resolve equipment issues. Respond to customer feedback and service requests in a timely and professional manner. Analyze equipment operational data to improve efficiency, performance, troubleshooting, and optimization. Provide technical training to customer engineering and technical staff. Prepare technical support reports, service updates, and progress reports. Perform other related duties as assigned. Lift up to 35 pounds and climb stairs as required. Work overtime and/or weekends when business needs require. Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, such as Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related technical field preferred. Equivalent hands-on technical experience may be considered. Field Service Engineer, Field Service Technician, equipment maintenance, or semiconductor equipment experience preferred. Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams, and procedures. Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
