Position Duties:
Performs multidisciplinary professional engineering work involving the applicion of electronics, mechanical, aerospace, and/or other engineering disciplines to determine the business and technical needs of customers in the acquisition. Functions as the organizion's technical specialist in developing system performance requirements, objectives and integrion, and the estimion of time and resources for system design, development, and support. Performs complex and comprehensive analyses and uses systemic, disciplined, quantifiable approaches to determine performance objectives and integrion issues. IDEAL CANDIDATE
The Ideal candide will have extensive knowledge of Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Energy's Sustainment, Restorion, and Modernizion (SRM) and Military Construction Programs (MILCON) reled to fueling facility maintenance, repair and upgrade defined in Unified Facilities Code (UFC) 3-460-01, UFC 3-460-03, reled industry practices, and includes an in-depth knowledge of fuels facility design and construction practices. Additionally a working knowledge of the principles and techniques utilized in the American Petroleum Institute (API) 653 and Steel Tank Institute (STI) 001 above ground tank inspection programs reled to the structural and hydraulic integrity of a fuel tank. Similarly, the candide must have a working knowledge of the API principles/techniques as reles to pipeline integrity as well as a basic understanding of environmental requirements generally applied to fueling facilities.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE
Applicants must have least one (1) year of specialized experience the next lower broadband NH-02 or equivalent to the next lower grade GS-11 in the Federal Service serving. Examples of specialized experience include performing multidisciplinary professional engineering work involving the applicion of electronics, mechanical, aerospace, and/or other engineering disciplines. Development of engineering methodologies sufficient to apply experimental theories and/or new applicions to issues and provide technical advice and direction in support of weapon systems, subsystems, and/or support equipment.
AND KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
(KSAs): Your qualificions evalued on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: 1. Knowledge of a wide range of multidisciplinary professional engineering concepts, principles, practices, standards, methods, techniques, and merials to effectively apply engineering principles, concepts, and practices to project development, design, construction execution, and advisory services as applies to Air Force fueling facilities. 2. Knowledge of petroleum facility engineering standards, practices, and procedures as they pertain to analyzing the impacts of and developing recommended solutions for identified deficiencies in Air Force fueling facilities. 3. Knowledge of the principles of planning and program management, of applicable regulory code/criteria, implementing regulions, practices, and procedures; and, of other engineering resources used in support of sustainment, restorion, and modernizion programs for Air Force fueling facilities. 4. Ability to use DoD and industry criteria, practices, and standards as well as regulory code/criteria to assess the impact of fuels facility condition assessments and prioritize the resolution of the identified problems considering mission support ramificions. The adequacy of such background must be demonstred by one of the following: 1. Professional registrion or licensure
  • Current registrion as an Engineer Intern (EI), Engineer in Training (EIT)1, or licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE) by any Ste, the District of Columbia, Guam, or Puerto Rico.
Absent other means of qualifying under this standard, those applicants who achieved such registrion by means other than written test (e.g., Ste grandfher or eminence provisions) are eligible only for positions th are within or closely reled to the specialty field of their registrion. For example, an applicant who tains registrion through a Ste Board's eminence provision as a manufacturing engineer typically would be red eligible only for manufacturing engineering positions. 2.   • Successful completion of least 60 semester hours of courses in the physical, mhemical, and engineering sciences and th included the courses specified in the basic requirements under paragraph A.   • Successful completion of a curriculum leading to a bachelor's degree in an approprie scientific field, e.
