Job Description

1st shift: Monday-Friday 8 AM-4:30 PM Direct Hire Primary Purpose The Technical Service Representative provides technical support to customers, dealers, and internal teams by assisting with equipment troubleshooting, repair, warranty administration, service documentation, and training. This role supports product performance, customer satisfaction, and continuous product improvement through technical expertise and field feedback. Essential Responsibilities Provide technical support to customers, dealers, and distributors via phone, email, and other communication channels. Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and control system issues using diagnostic data, photos, videos, and technical documentation. Assist customers with parts identification, service parts orders, quotations, returns, and repair guidance. Support Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering with production issues, warranty claims, root cause analysis, and corrective actions. Document recurring product issues and communicate trends to support continuous improvement. Develop and maintain service manuals, technical bulletins, troubleshooting guides, and other service documentation. Develop and deliver technical training for customers, dealers, and employees covering equipment operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair. Support new product launches with service documentation, training materials, and field readiness activities. Travel to customer, dealer, and company locations to provide technical support, training, demonstrations, and field service assistance. Perform other duties as assigned. Required High school diploma or equivalent. 3-5 years of experience in technical service, equipment repair, field service, or technical customer support. Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic control systems. Ability to read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics, service manuals, and technical drawings. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP/service management software. Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of customer service. Preferred Associate degree in a technical field such as Automotive, Diesel, Industrial Maintenance, or Electrical Technology. Experience supporting mobile equipment, construction equipment, forklifts, telehandlers, aerial work platforms, or similar equipment. Experience with battery-powered equipment, engines, warranty administration, root cause analysis, and technical training. Knowledge of
ANSI A92
standards and Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs). MEWP Operator or Service Certification. Certifications & Travel Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Ability to safely operate company vehicles and customer equipment. Up to 15% domestic travel for customer support, dealer training, commissioning, troubleshooting, trade shows, and other business needs. Working Conditions This position is primarily office-based with regular interaction in manufacturing and warehouse environments. Duties include occasional travel, standing, walking, climbing on equipment, lifting up to 50 lbs., and working around mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems while using appropriate PPE. Pay:
$65,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
