Role and Impact - Duke Capital Ventures is seeking a detail oriented and motivated intern to support its asset management and accounting teams in managing multiple commercial real estate assets. This individual will be expected to do all/some of the following: Collaborate with asset management and accounting teams on operational needs Support new business initiatives Support construction projects by projecting / tracking costs Support the lead underwriter on asset analysis and financial modeling Perform debt/equity analysis Perform and deliver market research and analysis We are Looking for - Required - Bachelor's degree (or working towards) in economics, business finance, accounting, or management Ability to effectively utilize MS PowerPoint and Excel Ability to interface with important third-party entities including legal professionals, contractors, financial institutions, brokers, etc. Proficient in mathematics / quantitative skills Excellent organizational, time management, and follow-up skills High energy; takes initiative; ability to work in a dynamic environment A culture focused individual with a successful track record working as a member of a team Encouraged - Working towards MBA Working towards California Real Estate License Competence in financial modeling Experience with property / construction management software Experience with industrial / multifamily asset management Experience with multi-use or SFR construction projects Duke Capital Ventures is seeking a reliable intern for a temp-to-hire position. This role begins as a temporary assignment (approx. 90-180 days), with the intent to transition the successful candidate into a full-time, permanent role based on performance and company fit. This is an office-based position for Mountain View, CA. Salary is commensurate with experience and ranges hourly from USD $20.00 - USD $25.00 (1099). The role is eligible for discretionary bonus(es). DCV operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy, and your total compensation may vary based on individual performance and prior experience.
