Job Description
Johnson Service Group is recruiting a Power Analyst for a great client of ours in Tampa, FL. This is a 6 month+ contract to hire on site 5 days a week in Tampa, FL. Pay rate is in the $33 - $55/hr range. •Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder•Position Summary Description Responsible for analyzing portfolio optimization, coordinating and transacting weekly, monthly, seasonal and annual power transactions. Responsible for the development and implementation of power contracting and risk management strategies to optimize energy assets. Develops and maintains business relationships that support company presence in the commercial markets. Coordinates reporting activities on power optimization and risk profile for delivery to senior management. Performs critical, non-routine analysis related to the performance of commercial agreements and supports commercial assessments conducted by the department. Supports the administration of power supply required to serve company's commercial activity with oversight on the enforcement of commercial terms and conditions for all such agreements. Qualifications and Education Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Business Administration or Industrial Technology or related field is required. Professional and/or educational experience in utility industry, energy data analysis or energy trading is preferred. Experience with Integrated Resource Planning is a plus.
