Job Description
The purpose of this job is to analyze energy consumption, policies, markets, and funding opportunities to support cost savings, improve efficiency, and advance sustainability goals. This position conducts advanced data analysis, energy audits, and resource planning to support utility initiatives. The Energy Analyst also manages utility grant activities, including identifying funding opportunities, preparing grant applications, monitoring grant compliance, and submitting required reports. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered Education and Experience Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Science, Engineering, or related field.
Knowledge of:
Data analysis and modeling. Utility operations. Common business software applications such as Microsoft Office and Google Suite. General office practices and administrative procedures, records management, and administration techniques and procedures. Grant and contract administration processes and procedures.Skill in:
Communicating verbally and in writing to meet the needs of the audience. Collecting, organizing, analyzing, and communicating complex and/or technical data. Project management. Organizing and managing time effectively. Developing and maintaining effective working relationships.Ability to:
Interpret complex grant requirements. Recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems Apply logic and reasoning to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems Provide high levels of effective customer service. Maintain accurate records Conduct onsite inspections of buildings. Use a computer, software, phone and related office equipment. Focus on tasks.
