VCA Green is looking for an Energy Engineer to join our sustainability consulting team. In this role, you'll develop whole-building energy models for commercial, multifamily, institutional, and mixed-use projects while supporting LEED certification, ASHRAE 90.1 compliance, and high-performance building design. Perform ASHRAE Level I, II, and III energy audits and site assessments as needed. Evaluate HVAC systems, building envelope, lighting, controls, domestic hot water, and renewable energy systems. Prepare technical reports, engineering calculations, and client recommendations. Support retro-commissioning, measurement & verification (M&V), and building decarbonization initiatives. Work closely with clients and project teams throughout all phases of a project. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Building Science, or a related field. 1-3 years of professional energy modeling experience.
