401(k) Employee discounts Health insurance Paid time off 401(k) matching The Junior Outreach Specialist for the utility's Energy Efficiency programs will support the execution of marketing and outreach strategies that increase program participation, customer awareness, and stakeholder engagement.
The successful Outreach Specialist will:
Increase program visibility and participation. Coordinate with Trade Allies and customers Improve effectiveness of marketing and outreach to underserved customer segments. The Junior Outreach Specialist responsibilities include: Primary Responsibilities include: Promote Energy Efficiency programs to commercial customers and work with contractors via one on one meetings, presentations, and networking throughout Atlantic City Electric's territory in Southern NJ Support the Program's awareness and long-term relationship management strategies by clearly articulating Program offerings; qualify leads; and assist property owners/managers in determining potential electric Energy Efficiency improvements. Implement outreach campaigns
  • canvassing, phone call and email campaigns
  • to "generate leads and opportunities" into projects for the Programs Actively support day-to-day outreach and recruitment of Trade Allies.
Data entry and management of contacts and opportunities in customer relationship management (CRM) database. Represent program at applicable community meetings Actively engage appropriate local and industry groups and associations Represent the offering, generate leads and answer inquiries at trade shows Complete activity reports and other required reports Minimum 50-75% travel is typical
  • driving for meetings, appointments, etc.
in the territory Self-starter, organized and able to work effectively independently This is a Full Time exempt position with up to 75% travel within New Jersey in South Jersey. The Outreach Specialist will be responsible for following and complying with of Utility Advantage's policies and procedures.
Qualifications Minimum Requirements:
Associates degree OR 4 years of experience in sales or outreach Strong time management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Ability to work independently and also collaboratively in team settings to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to providing exceptional quality Home office work environment with quality internet service Proven success as a self-starter Must have a valid drivers license and reliable automobile
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with CRM software (e.g., Monday.com, Salesforce,etc.) Outreach or customer service experience supporting business customers Knowledge of energy efficiency solutions Additional Job Details This Job Is Ideal for someone who is: Dependable
