Telecom Permitting Specialist Client:

Our client is an established telecommunications infrastructure company providing engineering, permitting, and construction services for fiber, broadband, and outside plant projects. They are seeking a Permitting Specialist in the Sarasota, FL market to support telecommunications projects within public rights-of-way.

Short Overview of Responsibilities:

Prepare, submit, and track permits for fiber and telecommunications construction within public rights-of-way Coordinate permitting with Manatee County, FDOT, municipalities, and other local agencies Review construction drawings and permit packages for completeness and compliance Track permit status, comments, revisions, approvals, and expiration dates Respond to agency comments and coordinate required revisions with engineering and project teams Maintain permitting documentation and provide regular updates on project schedules Help identify permitting issues that could impact construction timelines

You Should Apply If You Have:

Experience with telecommunications, fiber, OSP, utility, or right-of-way permitting Strong familiarity with permitting requirements in Sarasota, Manatee County, and FDOT Experience submitting and managing ROW and utility permit applications Ability to read and review telecom/OSP construction drawings and route plans Experience working directly with municipalities, counties, DOTs, and permitting authorities Strong organization and ability to manage multiple permits and deadlines simultaneously Excellent communication, follow-up, and problem-solving skills

Remote - Candidates must be local to the Sarasota/Manatee County area

Pay:

$45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
