Job Description

Maritime Hydrodynamics CFD Engineer at Saragossa Maritime Hydrodynamics CFD Engineer at Saragossa in Vineburg, California Posted in about 5 hours ago.

Type:

full-time Maritime Hydrodynamics CFD Engineer - Physics AI Startup - Up to $250k base You are joining one of the most ambitious deep tech startups in the world at exactly the right moment. This is a company trying to build the OpenAI of physics. The mission is that big. The backing is that serious. Some of the most prominent investors and operators in tech have placed their bets here, and now you are coming in early enough to shape what this becomes. You will be working on maritime hydrodynamics simulation at the absolute frontier of physics AI. Your work directly feeds into models that are redefining how the world computes physical reality. You are not maintaining legacy pipelines or iterating on someone else's decisions. This is greenfield. You own the approach, you influence the direction, and you build things that have not been built before. Day to day you are running CFD simulations in maritime contexts, working across solver frameworks, and handling geometry and meshing challenges that most engineers never get close to. You will collaborate closely with the broader technical team and need to communicate complex physical concepts clearly across disciplines. That communication piece matters here. Everyone is working at the edge of what is possible, and clarity moves things forward. This is a good fit if you have hands-on experience with hydrodynamics CFD in a maritime setting, are comfortable across solver frameworks, and know your way around geometry and meshing workflows. This is a mid-level role, so you bring enough experience to work independently but you are still hungry to grow into something much bigger. The equity is real. The problem is important. The timing is rare. Ready to work on something that actually matters? Apply now.
