1099 Contract (Task Force Traveling Engineer) Job Description We are seeking a skilled and motivated Line Level Engineer to join our team as a Task Force Traveling Engineer on a 1099 contract basis. This role requires a hands-on engineer who is willing to travel as needed to various project sites, providing technical expertise and support for line-level engineering tasks. Responsibilities Perform line-level engineering tasks including installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of systems and equipment. Travel to various client locations as assigned to support project needs and ensure timely completion of tasks. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to meet project goals and deadlines. Document work performed and provide detailed reports on issues encountered and resolutions implemented. Adhere to safety protocols and company policies while working on-site. Provide technical support and guidance to junior staff or clients as needed. Qualifications Proven experience as a Line Level Engineer or similar technical role. Ability and willingness to travel frequently as part of the task force team. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated and able to work independently under minimal supervision. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Skills Task Force Traveling Engineer experience preferred. Familiarity with relevant tools, equipment, and safety standards. Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and project requirements.
